Everyday Makeup Look

Hey guys,

So I’ve decided to do a post on my everyday makeup look.  I wouldn’t tend to wear makeup everyday as I do like to let my skin breathe most days but if I was to wear makeup this would be my go to products. I’m not going to lie this isn’t a what you would call a “natural” makeup look mainly because personally I love to wear a lot of makeup and anyone who knows me would agree. It’s either a lot of makeup or none at all, there’s just no in between!

Primer: I would usually wear the Smashbox Photofinish Primer. This literally feels like silk on your skin and not to mention makes your makeup stay on all day.

Foundation: I’ve been using this foundation for years now and it has always been my holy grail foundation. This lasts all day without getting patchy and doesn’t even feel cakey when applied.

Concealer: I apply the LA pro girl concealer under my eyes and also on the bridge of my nose. I would even wear this on a night out as it never creases and is amazing for highlighting under the eye.

Powder: For setting my under eyes I use the Laura Mercier Translucent Powder. I wouldn’t really bake under my eyes everyday I’d more so do that for a night out. What I usually do is just dust this over the concealer and sometimes all over my face. This is on the expensive side but it is well worth the purchase!

Bronzer: I’ve only been using the MAC Give Me Sun Bronzer recently and I haven’t really fell in love with it yet as it can give off that tango look lol but when I lightly dust this on it does look quite nice for daytime.

Highlighter: My go to highlighter has always been the Mary-Lou Manizer . I dust this onto the tops of my cheekbones, bridge of my nose and also on my cupid’s bow. To intensify it more I spray some mac fix + onto my brush before applying it.

Brows: Here I always use the Anastasia Dip Brow Pomade or I’d usually use the NYX Brow Pomade. Both are very similar but I’d find the anastasia easier to use but it also a lot more expensive. For making sure my brows don’t move all day I put on the Anastasia Clear Brow Gel.

Lashes: I always use the Telescopic mascara mainly because it’s great for adding length and volume.

Lips: Here I am wearing the Matte Lipstick Crayon from Primark in the shade Nude Beach.

Darker and Fuller Hair

Hey guys!

So as of last week I am back to darker hair! Over the past couple of weeks I have been thinking about going darker but was a bit nervous as I haven’t dyed my hair for over a year now but last week I decided to just go for it in the hope that I would be happy with my new hair. As well as wanting to dye it I also thought about getting extensions mainly because just before Christmas I went and got my hair cut but instead of the girl cutting one inch off my hair she took four! At first I got over it I mean hair grows back right? but fast forward two months and I was just getting so sick of the short hair. I haven’t worn extensions since second year when I used to dye my hair so much to the point where my hair just gave up and became so damaged that I had to wear extensions to cover up the split ends and thinned out hair. This time around though it was just the shortness of my hair that made me go back to wearing them.

The Extensions

So I decided to purchase a set of clip in extensions from foxylocks . From looking at their Instagram page I ended up going for the 22″ superior 230g seamless clip in extensions in the colour Cocoa. Once they arrived I knew they were the perfect colour that I wanted and the quality of them are insane they’re just so soft and thick!

The Process

Straight after receiving them I made an appointment with the girls in Peter Marks in Wexford to get a semi-permanent colour. When I walked into the salon I got looked after straight away by Alison and I explained to her that I wanted my hair matched to the colour of the extensions and after blow drying my hair and putting the extensions in for me I was so happy with the result as she matched my hair perfectly to them. Although I was a bit surprised as to how long they actually were so we decided to cut an inch or two off them just so they didn’t give off that “fake” feel. Overall, I am in love with my darker locks and love the extensions mainly because I can choose whenever I want to wear them especially for going out as I just can’t see myself putting them in everyday..I’m just too lazy for that. If you’re thinking of getting yourself some extensions I would highly recommend this company.

Much love,

Grace x

Fishnet Trend

Hey baes,

So lately there has been an obsession with fishnet tights under jeans and I guess you could say I’ve officially jumped on the band wagon! I am literally in love with this look it’s casual yet it has an edgy feel to it. I purchased this cute crop jumper a while back and thought it would go perfectly with the fishnet tights and jeans.

I have to say though out of my order from ASOS I was mostly  surprised as to how comfy the jeans were I mean I find it so hard to find a pair of jeans that actually fit me properly let alone being comfortable so I guess you could say I was quite happy when I tried these on. They’re also mom jeans which would be a style I never would of thought would suit my body shape and especially my long legs lol!

With the help of accessories to style it up that little bit more, I wore a black belt and also wore some clear lens glasses that I’ve been obsessed with, they kind of give off that geeky vibe.
