Just over two weeks ago I purchased this L.A Girl PRO.Coverage Liquid Foundation online here. I figured that if I loved the L.A Girl Pro Concealer so much that I would surely love their foundation plus I needed a new day time foundation so I thought this would be good to try. I purchased both the fair and nude beige shades because I figured I could wear the lighter shade when I haven’t self tanned and wear the darker shade when I have self tanned (view swatches down below). The great thing about this foundation is that it’s paraben free with added anti-oxidants which help hydrate the skin. There are 16 shades altogether and it even includes an innovative white foundation mixer to adjust and customise colour!
So on to foundation details!
The consistency of this foundation is very light which I wasn’t a fan of mainly because I kind of knew then that it wasn’t going to be very good coverage. Although the foundation does blend very well when using either a flat kabuki brush or beauty blender but I found that it works best being applied using the beauty blender.
Did it Last?
Personally, I would only recommend this foundation for day time as I have found it only lasts for up to 8 hours before it starts wearing off but it didn’t go patchy at all. I have worn this foundation on a night out but found that it wore off very quickly as it is a light foundation so it isn’t really going to last long.
It’s definitely a light-medium coverage foundation which makes it the perfect day time foundation.
Hope you’re having a great week and looking forward to the weekend!
I recently posted this makeup look on to Instagram and gave a basic product list in the description box but got loads of questions about what else I used to create this peachy makeup look. So I have decided to post up a full product list for you all so you too can recreate it!
For my brows I used the NYX dip brow pomade in the shade brunette and then set them using the Anastasia Beverly Hills clear brow gel.
I recently bought the Carli Bybel deluxe edition eye shadow and highlighter palette and I have been obsessed with it ever since! The quality of the eye shadows and highlighters for such a reasonable price is insane! Each eye shadow that I used is marked with a lip emoji down below in the picture.
For my transition shade I used the very first shade on the top row and blended this into my crease. I then went in using the third shade on the top row and also blended that into my crease to darken it up.
For my outer corner I used the third shade on the last row and blended that out to darken up the corners.
Lastly, for shimmer I used the fourth shade in the top row and placed this half way across my lid. I then dipped my brush back into the first transition shade I used and blended it all together.
For mascara I used the Catrice glamour doll volume mascara and applied my dodolashes in the style D115.
For foundation I used the L’oreal True Match foundation in the shade golden beige. For concealer I used LA Girl Pro Concealer in the shade Porcelain and set this using Catrice translucent loose powder.
For setting my whole face I used Rimmel stay matte powder. For highlighter I used the champagne highlighter in the Carli Bybel eye shadow and highlighter palette.
For lips I lined them using a lipliner from in NYX in the shade natural and also used their matte lipstick in the shade sable.
So there you have it guys the full run down on this peach makeup look!
